Erica (Kelso) Follette has been named as the new Program Director for 4-H Camp Overlook, jointly operated by The Cornell Cooperative Extensions of Franklin and St. Lawrence Counties. Erica most recently served as Interim Program Director and joined Camp Overlook during the summer of 2019 as the Waterfront Director.

Erica grew up in Ogdensburg, NY and has been a Girl Scout for 28 years. She spent most of her summers at camp, begging to return year after year and for more lengthy stays. The outdoors is where she feels most at home. After graduating from high school, Erica joined the United States Marine Corp and worked as an Aviation Ops Clerk throughout her enlistment. In 2013, she graduated with a BFA in Creative Writing and a MST in Secondary English Education both from SUNY Potsdam. Erica has been an educator in many settings for over a decade, ranging from the military, public schools, private tutors, and her absolute favorite… the outdoors.
