The town of Malone Justice Court will remain closed until further notice, even as other courts located in counties that have met state criteria for reopening prepare to resume some functions.
If you have any matters before the court, you will receive notification and procedures on how to appear through the United States Postal Service or if you have an attorney on record, the attorney will notify you.
Any fines can be paid to the court by mailing them to 27 Airport Road, Malone, NY 12953. Money orders or bank certified checks will be accepted –– no personal checks. Do not send cash in the mail.

NARFE meeting cancelled
The June 8 meeting of Chapter 1696 (St. Lawrence and Franklin counties) of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association (NARFE) has been cancelled. The next meeting will be in the fall. For further information about NARFE, call 315-764-5507.
Malone Grievance Day
The Town of Malone Grievance Day will be held Tuesday, May 26, from 4 to 8 p.m. All grievance forms must be submitted by Grievance Day using form RP-524, along with any documentation you wish the Board of Assessment Review to review. If you wish to speak with the BAR directly by phone (although not required) in addition to submitting your mail-in grievance, call the asessor, James Snyder, at 518-483-2030. BMC school board
The Brushton-Moira Central School Board of Education will hold a virtual meeting on Wednesday, May 27, at 6 p.m. The link for the virtual meeting can be found at www.BMSCD.org.
The Malone Rotary Club is sponsoring a bottle drive from noon to 2 p.m. May 27 in the village of Malone.
On Wednesday the Malone Rotary Club will pick up empty cans and bottles by the curbside of your residence. Place an X on one of the bags to mark participation in the bottle drive.
The Malone Rotary Club will also take donations from out of the village. To do so, please contact 518-353-3236.
All proceeds will go toward the scholarships, donations and projects that are involved throughout the Malone community.
