Amvets and Ladies Auxiliary will meet on Thursday, March 9 at 6 p.m. at the Amvets Post Home on the Whippleville Road. The Ladies Auxiliary will hold annual elections. All members are urged to attend.

Fish fries
n Bruston-Moira American Legion will have all-you-can-eat fish fries Friday on March 10, 24 and April 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. Choice of haddock, ocean perch, chicken strips, mashed potatoes, coleslaw for $15 per person.
n The Salmon River American Legion Post 1418 in Fort Covington will hold fish feeds every Friday through April 7. A haddock dinner with fries, coleslaw, and dessert will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. for $15 per person. Takeouts available by calling 518-358-4847.
n AMVETS will hold fish fries on March, 10, 17, 24 and 31 and April 7. Haddock beer-battered, fried or broiled. Cost is $12 per plate for adults, $6 children ages 5 to 12. Menu features fish, coleslaw, mac and cheese, roll, dessert, coffee or tea.
Franklin County Youth bureau
The Franklin County Youth Bureau is currently accepting applications for funding Youth Programs for 2023. Programs must have a Board of Directors, checking account and a Federal Employer ID number to be considered for funding. Deadline for submitting an application is March 17, 2023. To receive an application for 2023 funding, please contact the Youth Bureau at 481-1697.
American Legion Auxiliary unit 219
The American Legion Auxiliary unit 219 will meet on March 8 at 6:30 p.m. at Malone Post. Approving of new constitution and bylaws will take place. All members encouraged to attend.

Bingo will be held at 7 p.m. Thursdays at St. Andres Outreach Center (former Holy Family School) in Malone.
Bruston-Moira American Legion holds Bingo every Sunday with early bird starting at 1:15 p.m. All welcome.

Alzheimer’s caregiver support
The Alzheimer’s Association, in collaboration with the Caregiver Support Initiative, hosts a memory cafe and caregiver support group the second Thursday of each month at 1 p.m. at 57 Rennie St., Malone. There is no cost to attend.
Bangor meeting
The town of Bangor will meet the second Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m.
Food pantries
n The Town of Bellmont operates two food pantries for its residents — one at the town garage in Bellmont Center, the other at the town garage in Owl’s Head. If you have questions about pick-up times and how to qualify, call 518-483-9313. Food pick-ups are scheduled on the following Thursdays: Feb. 9, March 9, April 13, May 11, June 8, July 13, and Aug. 10.
n The Living Water food pantry is open the second and fourth Tuesdays of every month from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Living Water Life Station Church, 98 State Route 95, Moira.
Downtown Artist Cellar
TWILIGHT OPEN MIC at DAC is a live, in-person, open mic, held the 4th Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. at 410 E. Main St., Malone. If you want to perform, arrive at 6:30 p.m. to sign up.
