n Scott E. Anderson, 56, of Brasher Falls, was charged by New York State Police with petit larceny, a misdemeanor, in connection with an alleged theft in the town of Malone. Issued an appearance ticket.

n Jeree C. Cain, 19, of Paul Smiths, was charged by New York State Police with petit larceny, a misdemeanor, in connection with an alleged theft in the town of Malone. Issued an appearance ticket.

n Tamesha Hagler-Miller, 19, of Brooklyn, was charged by New York State Police with petit larceny, a misdemeanor, in connection with the same incident that led to the charge against Cain. Two 18-year-old females, one from Brooklyn and one from Paul Smiths, were also charged with petit larceny in the incident. All were released on appearance tickets.

Thursday

n Ashley R. King, 30, of Malone, was charged by New York State Police with second-degree criminal contempt, a misdemeanor, after she allegedly violated a court order by entering property she had been ordered to stay away from in the town of Bangor. No further information was provided.
