n Brandy L. Fountain, 38, of Malone, was arrested by Malone Village Police on a bench warrant. Fountain had been arrested Sept. 17 by Malone Village Police on a bench warrant issued after she allegedly failed to appear in court. Fountain had been charged Aug. 13 with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, all felonies; and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors; following a traffic stop on U.S. Route 11; she had been released on an appearance ticket. n Chad P. Fountain, 39, of North Bangor, was arrested by Malone Village Police on a bench warrant. He was additionally charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony; seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor; and possession of a controlled substance in a nonoriginal container, a violation. Fountain had been charged Aug. 13 by New York State Police with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony; and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor following the traffic stop that led to the charged against Brandy Fountain. Chad Fountain was also charged at that time by Malone Village Police with three counts each of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, both felonies; and resisting arrest, a misdemeanor. Arraigned before Malone Town Justice Stephen Stone and released on his own recognizance.

n Felicia A. Gonzales, 34, of Burke, was charged by Malone Village Police with endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, both misdemeanors. To appear in Malone Town Court on Nov. 5.
