MALONE — A local man on Friday was arrested after restraining a female victim and keeping her from leaving a residence, state police said.
William Fallon, 45, was charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and third-degree criminal possession of an assault weapon.
Police were called after receiving notice of a domestic dispute at around 9 p.m., which involved Fallon restraining the victim to the point where she could not leave the residence, police said.
He did so, with two children in the home and was found to be in possession of an illegal firearm, police said.
Fallon was arraigned virtually at Brandon Town Court. Orders of protection were issued and he was released after his appearance. He is scheduled to appear at Malone Town Court at a later date.
