David “Putt” LePine, 82, of Malone, went home to be with Lord and Savior Tuesday, March 17, 2020.
Born May 24, 1937 in Malone, NY, he was the son of Clarence “Cy” and Exilda LePine, they predeceased him.
David was married to the love of his life, Sally Margaret DeCoste LePine, she survives.
David attended Franklin Academy and graduated with the class of 1956. He had many jobs throughout his life; his most rewarding was his last job working for DynCorp, as an electronic/instrumentation technician at the U. S. Navy Test Pilot School Patuxent River, MD., where he was direct support for experimental flight testing on P-3, T-2, T-38 and the F-18 aircrafts. He was a communicant of Notre Dame Church, where he was also a Eucharist Minister and Lector. He was a former member of the Malone Golf Club where his enjoyed golfing with family and friends as often as his body would allow.
He is survived by a son, Todd LePine and his companion Moni Betters, a daughter and son-in-law, Shari and Randy Barney, a daughter –in-law, Eileen Murphy LePine, five grandchildren, Cassie, Jacob, Lauren LePine and Seth and Luke Barney, two great-grandchildren, Lily LePine and Kaleb Barney.
He was predeceased by a son, Craig David LePine.
There are no calling hours.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
