Jodi French Flint, 59, of Sebec, Maine and formerly of Bombay, NY, wife of the late Joseph S. Flint, passed away August 22, 2020 at her home under the care of Hospice. She was born on August 3, 1961, in Malone, New York, the daughter of Clifton and Bertha (Learned) French. Jodi was proud to own and operate Flint Construction with her husband, Joe. She worked as a cook for many years at a local school in Maine and more recently, at the Bears Den in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. Jodi most enjoyed cooking and being with friends, four-wheeling, camping and fishing. She was a member of the Elks Lodge.
Jodi is survived by her son, Joseph “JJ” Flint, and his companion, Jessica McKenzie of Sebec, Maine; her father, Clifton and his companion, Becky Jandrew of Westville, NY; her companion, Calvin Dustin of Westville, NY; her sister Trudy (Vincent) Bilow of Malone, NY, two brothers Charles (Bobbi-Jin) French of Malone, NY and Ricky (Tammy Soulia) French of Burke, NY.; along with nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews locally.
In addition to her husband Joe, Jodi was predeceased by her mother, Bertha, and her sister, Kay in infancy. She will be greatly missed by all her friends and especially her Bears Den friends in Maine.
The family wishes to thank Jodi’s great friend, Angie Jandrew, for her compassionate care for Jodi.
A graveside service was held August 27, 2020 at the family lot in the Sebec Corner Cemetery, with pastor Isaiah Hill officiating.
