DUNEDIN, Fla. — MaryAnn M. Walker, 66, formerly of Malone, NY, died Friday, Sept. 18, 2020, under the care of Hospice in Auburn, NY.
There will be no calling hours or services, per her request.
There will be a party in her honor at a future date, it will not be a celebration of life, because she didn’t want one of those either.
Born April 16, 1954, in Malone, she was a daughter of Robert and Marion Martin. She attended school in Malone and later graduated from SUNY Canton with a degree in education.
MaryAnn was a housewife, teaching aide and later retired as a New York State Corrections Officer.
She loved camping, the beach and traveling. She was an avid member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Elks Club.
MaryAnn is survived by her two children, Jonathan Walker of Theresa, NY, and Josalyn (Walker) and her spouse, David Villnave, of Apollo Beach, FL; two grandchildren, Davany and Jayth Villnave, Apollo Beach, FL and her beloved cat, Jasper.
She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Robert Martin Jr.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be made to the Matthew House, 43 Metcalf Drive, Auburn, NY 13021.
