Shirley Ann Tremblay, 71, of Lake Placid, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2022 at Albany Medical Center.
She was born in Malone, NY on January 7, 1951. She graduated from Franklin Academy High School in 1970 and married Richard Tremblay. They lived in Canandaigua, NY for 21 years before moving back to Malone to buy a business. Shirley ran the Dreamland Motel of Malone for 18 years. She treated her motel guests as family and many returned year after year as a result of the kindness she showed them. Shirley was an avid gardener and she enjoyed boating and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Yvette St. Mary of Malone.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Tremblay of Lake Placid; her son, Shawn and Sarah Tremblay of Lake Placid; her grandchildren, Brady Tremblay and Juliana Tremblay of Lake Placid; her siblings, Gary St. Mary of Fort Covington, Sheila and Marvin Hoy of Chateaugay, Jeannie and Joe Dingle of Naples, FL., and Jackie and Alan Hosler of Sarasota, FL.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 p.m. on Saturday, September 24, at Notre Dame Church, Malone.
Burial will take place at Notre Dame Cemetery, Malone.
