Shyanne Stanley

MALONE — A beautiful light and life passed into eternity unexpectedly on Monday, December 21, 2020. That same light and life that burned within Shyanne Lyn Rose Stanley, or as those closest to her recall, “Shy Shy,” will live forever in the hearts and memories of her parents: Tammy Lyn Polak of Middleburgh and Kevin Alan Duell of Malone; twin brother: Skyler Donn Eric Stanley (and fiancé Mercedez Lynn Vanpatten) of Middleburgh; her sisters: Sierra Rain Duell (and companion Mark Christopher Holmes, Jr.) and Jaidan Marie Dungee-Duell both of Malone along with many other family members, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Shy was born on September 7, 2000 and lived an amazing life. After graduating High School, Shy attended college and was studying Psychology, in hopes of working with children someday. She filled her days with swimming, horseback riding, snowmobiling, quadding, skateboarding, hiking, walking, and yoga. Her luminescent smile could light up the universe and she would want only the best memories to remain and every moment of every day be cherished for the gifts that they are.

Her spirit joins her great-grandparents: Eric and Rose Armlin and her grandfather: Jesse Alan Polak, who all predeceased her and if tears could build a staircase and a memory lane, we’d walk up to Heaven and bring you home again.

A celebration of her life will be planned for a later date and Coltrain Funeral Home, LLC, of Middleburgh is honored to be caring for her and her family.

Memorial contributions are asked to be sent to the Unexpected Expenses Memorial Fund, Administrator Tammy Lyn Polak, c/o National Bank of Coxsackie, 4507 Route 30, Middleburgh, NY., 12122
