BRUSHTON – With heavy hearts the family of Thomas J. LaRock, Jr.,54, announces his unexpected passing on Wednesday (Aug. 19, 2020), while driving a Potsdam Lowe’s delivery truck. Arrangements are with the Flint Funeral Home, Moira.
Born in Malone on March 11, 1966 the son of Thomas J. LaRock and Marie Rutherford of Moira. He was a 1984 graduate of St. Lawrence Central School. On November 15, 1986 he united into marriage with Rebecca Fisher in Colton, NY. For many years Thomas was a truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, camping at Blake, tinkering with things in his garage. However, he loved spending time with his twin grandsons Jase and Gavin age 3.
Treasured memories will be forever in the hearts of his wife Rebecca and his parents Thomas LaRock and Marie Rutherford of Moira, his children Matthew (Amanda) of South Colton, Ashley LaRock, and her companion Kristen Block of Brasher, and Alysha LaRock of Syracuse.
His siblings Laurie (Randy) Richards of Stuyvesant, NY, David LaRock of Philmont, NY, Terri (Gary) Sirles of North Lawrence, Shelly Judware of Brasher, John LaRock of Helena, and Samantha LaRock of Moira. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A time of visitation will be held Saturday (Aug. 22) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Flint Funeral Home. A graveside service will commence at 1:30 p.m. at the Sandhill Cemetery, Dickinson.
Due to current health care regulations facial mask and social distancing will be encouraged.
