When Elizabeth Crawford served as assistant district attorney under DA Derek Champagne, I had several opportunities to see her in action in Malone Town Court. At the time, I did not know her personally, but I could see she was a force to be reckoned with a firm grasp of the law and legal proceedings, a compassionate advocate for victims of crime, and a determination to seek justice for all.
From September, 2004 through December 2014 Elizabeth was ADA, quickly rising to be one of the lead trial prosecutors, seeking justice for children of violent and sexual crimes, prosecuting homicides, kidnappings, rapes, violent assaults, burglaries and other crimes. In addition, she was assigned to the Domestic Violence Task Force and the Northern Border Narcotics Task Force.
