MALONE –– The University of Vermont Health Network–Alice Hyde Medical Center Auxiliary announced the winners of its Summer Raffle on Tuesday, during its annual drawing in the hospital’s philanthropy office.

The winners of this year’s raffle are: Sharon Langdon, with a $250 gift certificate to Comfort Inn; Conner Allen, with a $200 gift certificate to Flemings; Kristin Wood, with a $100 gift certificate to IBC; Sue Lyng, with a $50 gift certificate to Mo’s Pub & Grill; and Jim Meagher, with a $50 gift certificate to the Alice Hyde Gift Shop.

Auxiliary President Kay Ray said the raffle raised $3,400 this year. The money will go toward the auxiliary’s goal of purchasing four defibrillators for the hospital. The project is estimated to cost a total of $48,000.

“We’re so pleased with the result of our annual raffle,” said Ray. “The proceeds from our 2019 Summer Raffle are a great start to reaching our goal of purchasing these defibrillators for Alice Hyde and doing everything we can to support our community hospital.”
