MALONE – Franklin Academy baseball pulled out a second straight win, 8-3 at home over Ogdensburg on Thursday.

Logan Spaulding pitched six innings for the Huskies (5-5, 5-4), striking out four batters, walking two and allowing five hits. Patrick Poupore relieved Spaulding in the seventh.

Brady Hopkinson had two RBIs, while Keegan McArdle, Dominic St. Hilaire, Jordan Perry and Harrison Hungerford all had an RBI each.


Salmon River dropped both games of a double-header against Gouverneur (10-1, 9-1). The Shamrocks (4-5) fell, 1-0 and 1-2 respectively.

Chateaugay (0-9) fell 12-2 on the road to St. Lawrence (2-8, 2-7).
