MALONE – Franklin Academy baseball edged Salmon River, 13-12 at home on Monday.
Luke Miller led in RBIs with five for Salmon River, and hit for the cycle. Logan Spaulding had three for the Huskies, while Brock Spaulding and Eli Race each added two.
The win comes the day after Franklin Academy rallied three runs in the bottom of the seventh to make an 8-7 comeback win over Canton.
“Very proud of this team for grinding out two wins in a row in the heat,” Huskies coach Tim Lamay said. “The wins gave sole possession of third place, which is a great accomplishment for such a young team.”
