MALONE — After recording 21 new positive cases and 14 recent recoveries since Sunday, Franklin County currently has 165 known active cases of COVID-19, officials said Monday.
There are 566 residents listed as either quarantining or in isolation. The county’s positivity rate, as of Sunday, is 4.23%. Its 7-day average is 4.84%.
Eight residents have died from COVID-19 complications, since the start of the pandemic. County officials suspect 1,093 cumulative cases since the spring.
The County Manager’s office on Monday reported 18 positive infections out of Bare Hill Correctional Facility, one positive case at Franklin Correctional and two cases at Upstate Correctional.
