MALONE — Appointments to receive a COVID-19 vaccine at Alice Hyde Medical Center’s clinic on Park Street are now available.

Eligible New Yorkers who are looking for their first COVID-19 vaccination can get a scheduled appointment this week at Alice Hyde’s vaccine clinic, hospital officials said Tuesday, according to a press release from Phillip Rau, the Malone hospital’s spokesperson.

The vaccine clinic is located at 130 Park St. and the vaccinations that will be administered at the clinic will be the Moderna vaccine, according to Rau’s press release.

Under current state guidelines, from the state’s Department of Health, anyone age 16 and older, who lives works or studies in state, is currently eligible to receive the vaccine, according to Rau’s press release, which states the Moderna vaccine is only approved for use with people 18 and older.

An appointment is required to receive the vaccine at Alice Hyde’s clinic and to schedule their appointment individuals can call 518-481-2800 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
