John Gokey/The TelegramMalone Mayor Andrea Dumas leaves an emergency food package on the porch of a home on Jones Street on Thursday afternoon as snow flurries filled the air. Dumas knocked on the door and alerted the resident of the delivery, then backed away so the person on the receiving end could retrieve the box while still practicing social distancing. The package, provided by AdkAction and The Hub on Hill, contains roughly a week’s worth of food produced by eastern Adirondack farms.
